Owner and head chef, Byong has 30 years experience specializing in Korean BBQ and traditional Korean entrees. Together with his younger brother, sushi chef (25+ years experience), Byong opened Sushi & Kimchi as a family owned restaurant to provide quality Japanese and Korean cuisine to the community of Rockland Country, NY.
Sushi & Kimchi has the best of both Japanese and Korean cuisine, with a wide assortment of fresh sushi and savory Korean entrees. Try the delicious sushi and sashimi combinations or the Dol-Sot Bibimbaps served in traditional hot-stone pans. Enjoy your meal in our newly designed space, which includes shoji panels for extra comfort and privacy.
